Casino Books – A Great Traveling Gamblers Companion
I love traveling and I love gambling and whenever possible, I try to combine the two. I can’t say I’m much of an avid reader, but nonetheless whenever I travel, I always like to bring a book or two along and to my pleasant surprise I’ve realized that there are many great casino books available.
There are all sorts of books, ranging from casino and hotel guides to gambling strategies. There are a few that I recommend in particular to anyone who considers themselves a gambling aficionado (although truthfully anyone could traveling to a casino resort will appreciate these…)

Casinos: The International Casino Guide, written by Joseph H. Bain. This one is a must have for planning your gambling vacation. This is a small paperback that sells on Amazon.com or your local bookstore for around $14.00. This book includes information from casinos around the world including addresses and phone numbers and general reviews about each location.
Another great book that I personally find to be helpful to both novice gamblers and experts alike is…
Casino Gambling For Dummies, written by Kevin Blackwood. This is one of the “Dummies” series books and while some of it is slow moving for those familiar with the basic rules of most casino games, it’s a great reference if you’re learning any new casino games. Aside from what you’d expect, this book also answers some interesting questions relating to winning and the IRS as well as had to budget and manage your spending money well. This also makes for an excellent gift to anyone planning a gambling vacation.
